EMSF Technology

Environmental Multi-Stage Flash (EMSF) is the innovative technology for production of very clean, drinkable water using vacuum distillation. The application varies from individual households to industrial enterprises. The technology is delivered as the distillation units with brine recirculation. Model series of the unit modular system ranging from 1 to 200m3 of fresh water/day. Individual units can be set up and arranged as needed. This flexibility is especially convenient for use on ships and in other confined spaces. Conversely, the same process can be used to increase capacity. The simplicity of the technology, very easy operation and maintenance enable the maximal operating time of 350 days / year. EMSF Technology represents a viable and more cost efficient alternative to traditionally used Reverse Osmosis.

Safe money when making drinking water

Any source of available waste heat from all sorts of technological equipment i.e. diesel generators, transformer stations, engine rooms, engines, heat exchangers, incinerators can be used as the source of the energy sufficient for the desalination process. This principle alone sets the technology apart from traditionally used technologies – mainly Reverse Osmosis and enables production of very clean drinkable water for very low cost. Alternative sources of energy like solar or thermal can be used as well – depending on the situation of every client.

The goal is to make quality, cheap water available to everyone who suffers from a water shortage, enable soil irrigation in areas that are now being lost to advancing deserts and/or where growing of crops is impossible due to lack of moisture. In addition, we strive to provide all users of technical equipment and means of transport the opportunity to utilise the waste heat in producing water. Such means of transport include ships, from giant tankers to small yachts, where the need for pure water is imperative.

Irrigation of arid farmlands

EMSF Technology applications include not only provision of safe drinking water but also provision of irrigation water in mositure lacking areas. This prevents salinization of fertile agriculture soil and enables intensified farming throughout the sustainable development.

Alternative energy sources
