After the visit of Princeston expert team to Inhaca Island, Mosambique in April 2018 the optimal solution and design of the future desalination plant has been developed. In close cooperation with the project partner – Water Research Institute it has been decided that the best option in terms of energy efficiency would be combination of the waste heat from the locally used heat exchanger and solar panels. Princeston prepared design of the solar energy plant together with Czech company VacuSol. The final design will be part of the feasibility study that will be sumbitted to Czech Development Agency which is co-financing the project.
